First blog entry; First cake

Thought I would start off by explaining my blog title. First of all, ALL the good names for cake blogs have already been taken so I had to choose something unique. Growing up, there was a Canadian TV show called "Take Part". It had a section where a woman named Pam would cook something. Here's a video if you need a refresher! The name of the blog may change if I come up with something better, but this will do for now. Suggestions are welcomed!

 

I began making cakes this past January. I had made cupcakes for a couple of years but had never been brave enough to try a cake. My first attempt was for a baby shower for a teacher that I was replacing on a Maternity Leave. Since this is my first blog entry,I thought I would include a picture of my first ever cake.  :)
